Beginners
With over 30 years of photography experience, I offer a relaxed way of learning photography by actually doing.
Lessons can be booked by the hour at £30, or for four for £100. Vouchers are available in my online shop if you wish to give four lessons as a gift.
We can work with any camera, even an camera phone, and I have a Nikon D500 with lenses and filters for you to practise on if you wish to use a DSLR.
Learning the basics of photography is fairly straight forward, improving your photography is all down to practice. Lessons will be outdoor along the coast from Whitley Bay to Tynemouth.
On request I can meet you in Newcastle if you want to work on something specific such as street photography.

Intermediate
If you're an intermediate photographer seeking targeted improvement, our half-day sessions priced at £195 (max 2 people) provide in-depth guidance. It's a great way to work on something specific and gives you plenty of time to practise without feeling rushed.

I work with several local businesses and can offer self-catering accommodation around Cullercoats, please let me know if you need help with booking your stay.

I would need to take a 20% non-refundable deposit at time of booking, the remainder payable at least two weeks before your session.
Group Walks
Our photography woodland and coastal walks in and around North Tyneside are designed for hobbyists who are beginners and intermediates who want to be outside enjoying a local walk whilst learning how to take better photographs. It's always great fun being around other like-minded people as well as having a professional who can help you bring the best out of you.

Walks are normally scheduled for weekend mornings of every month, from 10-12noon. Dates will work around NUFC home fixtures! No walks in December.
Business Workshops
I’ve teamed up with Social Media manager, Helen Arnold, to host workshops geared for those who use instagram (or facebook) as a business tool.

The emphasis of the workshop will be how to use social media to increase your organic reach, and how to take better photos with your phone.
​
There will be an opportunity to network with other like-minded business people. Sessions are run across the North East. Priced at £65 per person.
