Cullercoats was once a small fishing village with a crescent shaped harbour. The fishing industry is no longer there, but the village is steeped in history and proud to have created one of the UK's first Volunteer Life Boat crews and Watch House. The beginnings of what we now call the RNLI.
This shot was on a stormy winter's day when the coast was getting a real battering by the wild waves crashing in from the North Sea, it's in late afternoon with the sun about to set. A5 size and blank inside, Landscape measuring 210 x 148mm (A5) / 5″x 7″.
